Has anybody played on any of the maps from the Crimson map pack in the last week or two? I have not seen them in rotation and Im wondering if anybody else have played on them.

I never bought them so I haven’t.
It’s impossible to play them. Everybody votes for Exile or Ragnarok…
I hope they are fixing those maps.
I have not seen either Shatter or Wreckage show in the Big Team Infinity Slayer play list at all in the past 5-6 days. And there’s usually 9-11K players in the que, which is roughly the amount of players I normally see the past few weeks.
Previously, I’d see one of these maps almost every game, so something seems to be going on with Crimson maps not coming up, just my observation.

Same here, there has been no major population swing from when I would see them on a regular basis, but now they dont even come up.
Strange and concerning.
I believe they have been replaced with Exile and Exile.
I haven’t seen them since the Crimson playlist was removed.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve played on them since a week after the removal of Crimson DLC.
I’m having the same issue, they used to come up all the time for me to vote on with the normal slayer,btb playlist. The last 5-6 days, I haven’t seen them come up for voting once!!! None of the new maps are coming up. I’ve tried to re-download the maps and they still don’t come up in the map rotation. Have completed a whole specialization and not seen them once during this time. Not normal, I want to play these maps and the people who complain about the maps not being good, just don’t know how to play them.

This. Really needs sorting out, and if not, I’m simply not getting any more Halo related…well, anything. 
3/24 was the last time I played BTIS for more than a one-off and DLC was coming up nearly every game.
I’ve played a couple BTIS games tonight, but nothing yet. I’ll stay in the list tonight and see what happens, as they usually come up pretty often for me.

Something is up because I’ve noticed it too. I was beginning to wonder why all these players never bought the crimson maps. But that’s highly unlikely with the amount of players in big team…right? Or maybe not.
343 needs to look into this because Exile and Ragnorok gets old real quick. That’s all I play with Vortex and Longbow sprinkled once in a blue moon.

Didn’t see them last night. It’s weird because Crimson had been coming up so often, that I had assumed they increased the priority on DLC matching.
One thing I noticed though, was that it clearly felt like Trueskill was reset.
People were posting about this last week, and it makes sense that 343i would have a silent test run right before implementing CSR. I haven’t played much BTIS since those posts started showing up, and last night games were ridiculously easy for me, even by BTIS standards. I also noticed I was matching a lot of lower SR ranks. Before this, it was common for most of the lobby to be at or near SR130, where last night the average was probably lower than 50.
I have 2 theories- Either 343i is playing with search priorities in preparation of CSR…

Assuming a reset did happen, matching the less experienced players is having a negative influence on DLC matching. I think it’s safe to assume that the higher SR ranks with more playtime invested are likelier to have Crimson downloaded.

DLC is normally very common in BTIS, so long as you’re playing during peak hours, at least it was for me.
If it were up to me, matchmaking would follow these priorities:
- First priority: Good connection
- Second priority: Crimson / Majestic / Castle map pack owners (depending on playlist)
- Third priority: TrueSkill / CSR
- Fourth priority: mics plugged in
Yes, I would rather play against superior or inferior players than never have the maps I paid for come up in matchmaking.
EDIT: Oh, and if everyone in the lobby has the same map pack, at least one voting slot MUST show one of the maps of the map pack. Otherwise the whole priority thing would be for nothing.

For me too.
I had Wreckage come up last night in Team Objective, but when we picked it everyone on the other team quit before the game started.
It’s depressing we can’t play the Crimson maps. I want a DEDICATED DLC playlist.
I came on to see if anyone else was having this issue. It’s been at least two weeks without Crimson coming up at all in BTB voting. Why’d I even buy these maps if I can’t play them?
