I don’t really know the canon information about the Void Dancer.

Body Description:
The VOID DANCER answers many tactical questions for the UNSC special forces community, but its unique design features have raised alarms in ONI.

Helmet Description:
The VOID DANCER does not meet all Mjolnir standards, sacrificing compatibility so that Emerson Tactical Systems can integrate its own black-box components.

The MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Void Dancer is a variant of the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor.[1] Hardened against the perils of exoatmospheric operation and equipped with the latest threat-assessment firmware, the Void Dancer armor is Acheron Security’s entry for the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers’ Generation After Next armor upgrade competition. Costly and temperamental, the Void Dancer is a risky gambit for Acheron in the UNSC’s post-2552 “procurement wars”.[2] Sometime before 2558, Emerson Tactical Systems adquired the Void Dancer armor designs.

So how is this armor related to ODST’s??
I don’t really get it.

Either Archeron’s Security personal ODST unit that wears the void dancer armor or ODST members from the UNSC that become spartans wear the Void dancer…

The Void Dancer is a Private Company “next gen” ODST variant

it is not ONI issued and it is referred to as “special forces” so it is not mass produced

Void dancer is one of the few armor sets I actually like in this game.
