Did anyone else have a surprisingly good time playing MM while everyone else had the same armor, same rank, and started out with the same two loadouts? I thought It was kinda fun, and to be honest, I actually enjoyed playing a game of slayer with a semi-decent playing field for all players.
Personally I think a playlist with assault rifle/magnum and DMR(or battle rifle)/magnum would be an awesome playlist that people would enjoy.
That’s what slayer pro was, before it was removed. Don’t understand the reasoning behind that.
But, introducing such a playlist would require 343 to acknowledge that we don’t want to play Team Fiesta all the time.

They removed Slayer Pro due to negative feedback from competitive players. The playlist will be reintroduced with revamped settings, as “Team Throwdown”.
I swear this exact same thread is made on the Steam forums every time the TF2 item server goes down.
But yeah, equal content is fun every once in awhile.

Good, because Slayer Pro was a bit of a joke. It still had killcams and many of the other lame new things, which defeated the point of even having the playlist.
I was enjoying the old-school playlists.
King of the Hill was on my mind all afternoon. Even got to play KOTH on Ragnarok, with the Banshee. Great times.

I played KOTH on Ragnarok today too. It was a nightmare though! The Hill appeared about 6 times on the other team’s side of the map and only appeared twice on my team’s side of the map. It meant that whenever I was killed I spawned about 15 seconds of sprinting away from the Hill. Throw in a few camo dmrs/nipers and yeah, it was a nightmare.

Lol’d.
To the OP: it almost felt like an arena shooter

Yeah, it can turn out that way sometimes. I really don’t like playing KOTH on big maps because of that reason. At least not ones like Ragnarok that are oblong. They should add more vehicles if they expect people to trek to the other side of the map randomly like that. Or at least set a default central hill for both teams to fight for.
Kind of bummed I missed it now. I got off when Spartan Ops stopped working.
Meh… I couldn’t get into a game last night, sounds like fun for those that did. though.
TS Pro was my favorite playlist - I would love it to be added again. Maybe to replace Team Regicide?

Team Throwdown, thats a good name. Has a nice classic sound to it but its new.
As someone who’s actually been enjoying Halo 4 overall as it is…
…I liked it during the Server Shutdown a lot more.
Why exactly was KOTH removed from the playlists?
There certainly seems to be a demand for it.
I liked the multi team KOTH in Reach, that was usually mental, with grenades flying everywhere, especially on countdown.
