Wow lol, way to give away the biggest plot twist of the game in a trailer >.>
It’s been ten years. I think we all know what happens.
The biggest plot twist was leaked about 10 years ago…
lolz
Spoiler alert
Snape kills Dumbledore.
If people don’t know the plot points of this game by now…that is kinda sad.
A fan is already going to know what happened. A new Halo player simply isn’t going to understand from the trailer, and there’s not a lot to stop them from looking online.
I know, but a lot of my friends are playing this for the first time, as they were too young to play it when it came out and they’re too obsessed with graphics and physics to play it now. So they still don’t know the plot twists and all they know about Halo comes from playing Reach, The Fall of Reach, Contact Harvest, and the Cole Protocol. So yeah, imma tell them not to watch this trailer, because something that I’m most excited for about this game is just watching my friends’ reactions when they get up to those plot-twists (I’m also making them play it solo their first run through, so stuff like the Flood would be more creepy).

Huh, what do you mean not old enough to play Halo. As much as I love the game, it has always had a high percentage of kids from 3-16 playing it.
And another thing, if your friends were not old enough to play Halo when it came out, were you? Or are you like 5 years older then them and an you can not find friends around your age? Or do you call the random people how add you on XBL friends.
Sorry to sound like a -Yoink-. But what you just said just made me snap a little.
Yeah, like these fine people have said: There really is no spoiler since it has been out for 10 years. Off-topic: Bruce Willis was a ghost the whole time!

Such a fantastic movie. I honestly did not see that plot twist coming when I saw it for the first time.
Its not a new game… Its a remake. I think they can afford to give away the ending to a 10 year old story.

No, I am part of the latter group, the group that doesn’t care about graphics and physics and only cares about a good game, so we’re the same age, but I just played it later.

MAJOR SPOILER!
MC lands on Halo, saves groups of soldiers, then saves Keyes from a damaged Covie ship, then goes looking for a map room to point the way to the control room, then the MC has to go save Capt Keyes from opening up a flood research lab, only to find it its too late, saves some soldiers, and then finds 343 GS, gets the activation key for the Halo ring, finds out that 343 wants to turn on the Halo ring which will wipe out all food for the flood which means it’ll kill all living things, then they destroy the Halo ring and save the day.
If you don’t already know the story plot for Halo CE, then you need to play the game, or read the books. Cause you fail if you don’t already know the plot of Halo CE.
I do, if not, then I wouldn’t even know that’s a spoiler. I’m talking about the people who haven’t played it yet.
Whats there to spoil? Im sure everyone already saw the campaign
…I never played the game at all, although i had plenty of chances to get the game I just never did. so yeah im REALLY looking forward to playing this game
> > Whats there to spoil? Im sure everyone already saw the campaign

It’s a fair point you raise. Yes most people surely know by now but what of those that don’t. Perhaps someone introduced for the first time to the delights of gaming maybe. Those that see this for the first time would i’m sure not like to know certain things were they to buy the game
Not sure why anyone here would really question that. What is the average age by the way on here

I have played CE more than any Halo game but still for newer player, there should be some spoilers or something to show them more about the story and backround of the game.
It’s difficult of course, even film trailers show too much of stuff at times and game ones are about the same really. I suppose they have to do it but yes given the choice, you do normally want to find out yourself the twists etc. Being the material people are seeing doesn’t usually make much sense anyway i guess, it normally doesn’t register
But the argument that every person should know Halo by now is a bit daft
