Please, 343, please! For Halo 5 or 6, do this idea!
What if… what if… 343 created a Spartan Ops mission creator…
There…(And ya, I use a lot of ellipses…) Basically like Forge, but you can place enemies, plus give them commands like how to act, what route to take, if they shout things, etc… Plus you would be able to set the spawn points of all the team members and objectives. Of course, you wouldn’t be able to create as dynamic missions with cutscenes, or as advanced options, but it would still be a cool feature.
Oh, and if the technology is able. Maybe you can create your own cut scenes with recordings from theater and if they are placed into the Spartan Ops mission, you can select which spartans in the cut scene are replaced by the player models. Just a thought, an easy way to make good cut scenes…

That is not going to happen any time soon with the lack of resources and amount of time it would take to design such a sophisticated system. A good few years.

I thought I said Halo 5 or 6?
Its pretty bad of a idea personally, while someone would use it to its full potential, people would prefer to play invade the giant male genitals than a serious mission designed by someone who cares, community based leads to imaturity.

Well ya, there are forge maps at the top of most downloaded with f you written in the air or pictures of inappropriate material, but it still works out… I don’t see why this would be different from forge.
Because spartan ops is ment to havs a serious story behnd it, while forge is for messing around with most people who use it, the fact that its your purpose as a unsc spartan team to stop the giant p*nis from launching into space, and covering the earth in white goo and ending humanity, just sounds too mad to be seen as serious.
I’d rather they pick a select few people to design a Spartan Ops mission for season 2. Don’t know what the purpose for selecting that certain group of people would be, but I’m sure 343i can come up with something.
