Now, nothing may be confirmed but i have heard rumors that halo 4 will possibly have the best graphics on xbox. Is there any released specs of the graphics?
Oh and while i ask this will there be a regular definition suitable for all, and a higher graphics download available for those who can use it?

you cant really determine that until the last xbox 360 game is released. but Halo 4s graphics are the best for a game that I have seen

I mean for when it is released, compared to past games and games released around the same time
The reason Battlefield 3 had a HD download pack was because for whatever reason, it couldn’t run the HD textures straight from the disk. It was built for PC, then downgraded for console, with the HD pack to help bring it back up again. (I think)
Halo 4 is being designed for Xbox, and it’s been said to push it to its limits. At any rate, it manages frames better than Reach’s did (people analysed the E3 demo and found it kept around 30 FPS, while Reach would drop to 20 at points of high demand.)
You can’t have graphic spec’ really since it’s not a PC game and thus doesn’t require a specific video card/… to play properly as all xbox have pretty much the same stuff except for a few change they did over the year to reduce cost or issue.
So I guess if 343i would release how many polygons for the models and the texture quality they are using and we would compare it to other visual good game we could find which game has the best texture and model.
But yeah…
It might have the most technically impressive graphics on the xbox yeah… but that doesn’t mean they are best looking artistically. Just take a look at the new Pelican, technically it might use some of the best lighting and shading effects going but it doesn’t stop it looking like such an ugly cartoony joke.

Alright, So basically halo 4 is pushing the limits for graphics on xbox. Plus on one side it will remain a smooth playing game, even on high demand areas? What more can i ask for?
now imagine playing Infection, and the Zombies are actually Flood Combat Forms. Halo 4 Graphics + Flood = Very, very scary Infection.

good graphics does not necessarily mean photo realism or one-up-manship in shaders, polygon counts and procedural effects. Look at games like Darksiders …but Halo 4 graphics look insane

The graphics look amazing for a 360 game.
I wouldn’t say that Halo 4 has the best graphics out on the Xbox, that prize would probably go to Dice or Crytek, but DAMN it looks really good.

Plus, it will be the first(?) Halo to run in native 720p.

Lol Battlefield 3 look absolutely terrible on Xbox. I put those graphics almost as far down as CoD. But you gotta cut them some slack, the game was obviously rushed and it does have enormous maps.
I’d say Crysis 2, Halo 4, and Gears 3, are among the top 3 games on Xbox as far as graphics.
I’d say Halo 4, Crysis 2 and Gears of War 3
