Anyone else think the meaning behind it, which is to play some halo with a close friend/wife/husband/gf/bf, is a little negated by the lack of split screen? Me and my gf are just planning to have a nice day indoors together sadly some 2v2 relationship power is out of the question lol. Share your thoughts on the game type!

I don’t think they actually intended any couples to play this together. I don’t know about you guys but the total amount of gfs I’ve had that would want to sit down and play a videogame ON vday is exactly zero. They’re just spoofing off the holiday “It’s a time for couples.”
I like it. Fun to have the H2BR start and the binary rifle on map, and I like the 2v2 flow on the breakout maps.
Well I don’t know about you guys, but if I had a girlfriend at the moment I’m pretty sure spending the one holiday thats all about romance playing Halo would be a really quick way to find myself single. No matter how much she says she is ok with it, I still doubt it’s the smart choice.

But… I thought no one played splitscreen anymore? There was no demand for it in the year 2016 and people are just “far too busy to meet up in person.”

Never demanded splitscreen just thought it would be there, funny thing is when there is no splitscreen I have friends and family saying “hey lets play that new halo game!”. Guess splitscreen is one of those things you don’t miss till it’s gone.
