Seems to be a very rare bug, but right now it happened to games in a row. I guess 343 needs more investigation, probably till season 4 but until then I was asking how many other players are experiencing it.
Oh, and thanks for the rank drop as well as the 3 hours ban for not putting up with this BS. Not that I care in the slightest, just wanted to mention how stupid there punishing system is in conjunction with a broken code game. 
In over 100 hours of play I encountered the bug in one BTB match. Playing on Series X. Might be that it’s more common on other platforms. Two in a row is of course a terrible experience. Did you restart the game after the bug occured or join directly into the next match?
Not saying you did anything wrong - just trying to find out a bit more about the context in which it occured.
Series x, had it about 10-15 times in 800 games.
Yep, restarted the game since tgere is no other option. Just happened with my GFs acc again… gotta love this game.

edit: had to restart MM since a got a server error every time. Dunno if it’s connected…

Just had it 3x in a row.
Team slayer, restarted the game (select quit in Xbox menu) happened again in Fiesta, quit and restart again.
Still messed up…
