ABOUT THE NEW HUD...(campaign/infinity mode incompatibilities)

NOTE: If this comes across to you as complaints about Halo 4, I apologize, I did not mean for it to come across that way. This is moreover a statement of intrigue.

After reading more about Halo 4 via the issue of GI and then later watching a video showing some of “Infinity Mode’s” gameplay, I recall seeing that the HUD’s for both Infinity and campaign were either the same, or strikingly similar. Now, that seemed quite odd to me because the GI issue stated that cortana had spent the four years, seven months, and ten days (aside from talking about the forerunners and stuff in Legends:3) reprogramming the chiefs mjolnir-armor firmware, thus restyling his HUD. The problem I see is, if the ‘Infinity Mode’ scenario is taking place on a UNSC Flagship enroute along a proposed path of the forward unto dawn’s other halves location, how can THEY have the SAME HUD? It doesnt make sense. I don’t believe the UNSC posseses QCC yet, nor would Cortana have access to it to publicly release it. Anyone else see the problem? I personally love the HUD and how it fits into the campaign but, These are Spartan IV’s out there on Infinity, they Have to have different armor systems, shouldnt they? The campaign armor is supposed to make you feel as if your wearing 10-100 Tonnes of Tank and Jet-fighter. Wasn’t the S-IV armor supposed to be lighter? Just my two cents.

So, what’s YOUR opinion on the matter?

If they ended up having two different HUDs throughout the game, the problem would lie where people would get confused between the two, especially though who are swapping between the Campaign and Mutliplayer side of things.

If things kept moving around, I would get confused and ultimately give up. In essence, story wise it may make sense, but compatibility with the player wouldn’t work out.

That’s just another problem associated with trying to tie the multiplayer into the canon.
