Frankly I’m dubious about the assertion that this many things are placeholders with the game coming out next fall. This seems a bit questionable IMHO.
But really? Aside from the Mark V armor NEEDING to be made better than what we saw in the original trailer? I think the only thing that really needs to be fixed on the Trooper model from Reach is to just give them the armored boots from Halo CE. The bloody free hanging jeans are really the only thing that really screams to you that they’re not from Halo CE.
Oh. And the green eye monocles. Give us the green Monocles and the armored legging variant from Halo Reach and I’m honestly fine with how they look.
Also. I’d like it better if they made the coloring of the new Elite classes match more with the ones in the old game. Which is to say, Majors should be a less orange and a more obvious shade of red. Zealots shouldn’t be red. They should be golden.
I don’t really understand the Reason Bungie decided to change that color pattern in Reach (or even with the Brutes in Halo 3). There had previously been a well established color based way to determine the strength of enemies. Which got changed for no reason.
