Who said non-sentient life was hunting sentient life? Another form of sentient life could exclusively target other sentient life. Either way Frankie came out as said that description was less than accurate.
I have thoroughly convinced myself that a rampant Cortana will be trying to enforce “containment protocol.”
Seeing that the only known thing that hunts sentient life is the flood, and there is a possible return of mendicant bias, the flood seem to jump out as a good possibility.
We can only ask that there is nothing like cortana or the library…

lol. I thought you were talking about as plot devices. Granted I don’t want to retrieve another index, but I was wondering why you were hating on those two things.
Then I realized you meant the levels. =D I’m not too ashamed to admit that the flood levels freak me the heck out, so I’ve never tried to play through those by myself on the harder difficulties. I get myself too worked up.
