To me I think the HUD needs a little more work.
Make the outline of the HUD more visible and detailed look much like Halo 3 to give a better impression to the player that they are wearing a spartan helmet.
A custom HUD in multiplayer would be nice.
Also I still like the weapon slot on the top right while the grenades and power items on the top left.
