During games, some people stick plasma granades on teammates or just simply roadkill with vehicles.
Does 343 have any solution on this? Like banning these guys?
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pretty angry about this.
If you betray people too many times in one game, you will get kicked out of the game and it could lead to a ban. Generally, it takes more than one betrayal to get kicked; probably because 343i didn’t want to punish people who betray on accident.
Some playlists, like SWAT and Warzone, have turned off most methods of team killing (in Warzone you can still use vehicles to betray teammates).
Some people have called for a complete removal of friendly fire from Halo, but that is a controversial subject. Friendly fire has been a part of Halo since its inception, and I personally don’t want to see it get removed. If you are having problems with people betraying you in ways that don’t get them kicked out of the game, then you should make sure to report them via Xbox Live for unsporting behavior (or whatever option fits the situation).
To add to the above multiple betrayal boots will result in a greifing ban and if you do report someone for unsporting conduct and enough other people do then that will damage the online reputation of the griefer and he or she will likely have difficult finding matches.
