Not at launch. We have to wait for the people who pick them (forget their names) and they’ll probably include the awesome ones in a title update.

You dont see what I am talking about is there an option to PLAY FORGE MAPS BY COMMUNITY? Option? No right there is only a Forge option which makes you forge stuff and freinds and recent players can come and join you to play on the map. But what are the chances when you want someone to play your map someone is just going to randomly pop up in your game?

A lot of the maps in Reach’s matchmaking are community Forge maps, so yeah, you can play those. But the only way your personal Forge maps will make it into matchmaking is if you submit them in a community contest or something and they’re good enough to get selected. If not, then you can still play with your friends on any Forge map you create or any map on the file browser. Other than this, I don’t quite understand what you’re getting at. The option for anyone to submit their maps into matchmaking isn’t feasible, as a vast amount of them will be crap maps that won’t be popular enough to justify inclusion into matchmaking. That’s what the selected community maps are for.
The OP basically wants a custom game finder. It’s been said that they won’t have this, as the code would be too difficult. I admit I know nothing about it, but I know it won’t be in Halo 4.
You will have to download the maps through File Share or online for now, just like you’ve done in Halo 3 and Halo Reach.

you know how many ‘idiotic beyond comprehension’ spawn death, unbalanced, unplayable, unfinished, (did i mention ‘idiotic beyond comprehension’ already?) maps you would get if anyone could make a map and hit a button and it goes into the hopper of a playlist?!
So.
no there are some 343i made forge maps in the hoppers, but community made maps will have to wait for the ‘best’ ones to be found tested and deemed fit for MMby 343 before they land themselves in the hoppers.
