I am wondering about this assassination animation, people have told me its Emiles assassination, but I am not sure I seen him do this assassination before, are they talking about when he died and stabbed the elite in the head? Or was it in the trailer or title screen. I am just wondering what makes Emlies regards a mythic, I understand its a Emile assassination, but I am just wondering if he actually did this.
pretty sure he did do it although I don’t know what Emile’s Regards looks like so I could be wrong.

I think that this is just a homage to his death. Like you, OP, I don’t remember him doing this exact move, but he did stab that Elite in the neck.
And what makes it Mythic? Well the Reach themed armor and whatnot was highly so after when it first came out. They knew this would be the case. They wanted us to work for 'em. I’m alright with some of this stuff taking a while to acquire.
If you’ve played halo reach you should know how he died.The way that killed that last elite is stabbing his throat then Emile and the elite falls to side as seen in the game and as seen as the assasination in halo 5 the spartan does the same thing almost.
Emile was left Handed with his Kukri Machete, before he died he grabbed his Kukri and left a final blow by stabbing the Zealot with his Knife in the left Hand.
With Emile’s Regards, it’s pretty much homage to that, because the Animation references it, how? Well the animation shows you going for the neck stab holding the knife on your left hand. And you know what happened in that cutscene
Emile’s Regards pretty much just references that scene & also pays homage to well known Bad*** Spartan along with it
