In Halo guardians Cortana parrots the line “the mantle of responsibility shelters all but only the created are its masters”
If she did not hear it originally how is she parroting it? What is the significance? What does it mean for her role in halo infinite?

As it was a Mantra used by the forerunners (the didact at the least) once entering the domain she probably adopted that ideology 
Well we must take into account that the original story of 5 changed a lot by the reception of the 4, but good in the books that I know the pioneers named human heirs of the mantle, the precursors are the creators of everything in Halo including humans, I believe that Cortana does not understand the context well since AI are creations of humans and Cortana is also a clone of Halsey, she is human and AI, that is why she has some power over precursor artifacts, even she can Activate a Halo on your own, because it has human genes.

And on what role in Halo Infinite the truth is still a mystery since they have not said anything official about the campaign, we’ll have to wait until E3 to see something of the story.
On what FlintyHalo wars said about Cortana being human, I’m beginning to wonder if her mind skewed the line between being a ‘creator’ and being a ‘created’. She is part human because of the nature of her creation, so she has remote access to just about all Forerunner and Precursor technology. And as such, she would be part ‘Reclaimer’, so I’m wondering if being part Reclaimer, she has misunderstood what role she fell under in terms of power in the Librarians grand plans.
Because she is part human she would fall under ‘Controller of the Mantle’. Being immortal she perhaps now believes that the ‘Created’s’ purpose was to be created by humanity, become immortal as she had, and rule over everything like the Forerunners had. But she misunderstands that the Created can not govern anything because they are not human, but she is; so it’s a case of: because she is such, she believes that is the gift granted to all.
Basically what the Covenant believed initially; that the Forerunners left tests for them to pass to prove their worth and then magically everything was theirs when it was never meant to be in the first place.

I don’t read comics but as far as I know he got “composed”
I still hope that she is being influenced by something. I really want it to be the Gravemind, but the Didact could also be cool. He was also affected by the logic pauge was he not?

Also…I have to wonder if halsey will outfit chief with “another Cortana model” in halo infinite. I wonder if that plot device will be used to reset Cortana as it was postulated in halo 4
