About Collectors Editions and Mappacks...

When Halo 4 was released I bought the collectors edition with all its additional contents and they worked just fine with the codes… until yesterday.
Because of a corrupted installation file I had to format my hard disk and since then all contents from the collectors edition were gone (no surprise so far, since I only saved profiles and gamesaves on an usb-stick). I thought I will be able to download all the contents again, but now I have to pay 2000 MS-points to get all the maps back I once had. Or at least it seems like this is the only way.

Any suggestions and/or solutions?

This should work.

As for the map packs, first re-download your map pass. It should grab the packs after you get on Halo 4.

You can look at your download history in your account information on the dashboard. Then just pick the stuff out of the list you want to re-download.
