About Armor-Customization

Hey there,
Truth to be told, after the whole whining about “dumped down” Armor-Customization from all the people out there and going back to play bymyself a bit Reach again, i’ve to say for me its dissapointing and I’ve mixed feeling. Of course, what i general find better in Reach is, how the Armor-Color looks. How to put it the best… the Color/Material-Sheme of Reach looks much more realistic and gritty - like if they use an metal(iron/steel or something like that), meanwhile in Halo 5 it looks like more plastic with nanosuit. It kinda makes me sad, because first: in the Campaign the Armor looks as well grittier than in Multiplayer. Second: If someone watched RUL’s pre-alpha footage with the awesome Interface/HUD/Menu, you see that gritty look were already in halo 5 and it dissapoints me, 343i didn’t stick to it.
BUT
In my opinion i prefer Halo 5 Armor-Custumization, because it feels like i have more vaerity and individuality. The Armors in Reach looks almost the same and for me(at least) it doesn’t feel properly done. Of course its cool, that you can Change Shoulders etc, but it really doesn’t change that much, meanwhile i can’t do that in Halo 5 but the different Armors(except the variation) actually look different. I mean i wouldn’t mind, if they would’ve still let changeable things like Reach, but with the high variety of Armors of Halo 5, but as it goes for me - i prefer Halo 5 Armor-Customization over Reachs…
So the bottom line is that - with Halo 6 i would wish an hybrid of both systems. A gritty look again and maybe more options per se, but still the high variety and individuality which offers Reachs.
Thanks for reading, still have fun with Reach( i will as well with Firefight)
