I’m not even sure where to start on this. I’ve been waiting so long for a game that meant so much to me years ago. I topped the leader boards, Ranked in the top ten for 1v1s and 2v2s, top 20 for 3v3s…Yet I can’t even play. It was bought pre-release so I could play early. Ever since then I’ve yet to have substaintial game time. The only way it’s even possible for me to play is to do an inplace upgrade and wait 2-3 hours to play…Only to have windows 10 do a force restart which then makes it unplayable. It has been practically a month and still I’ve yet to be able to play. I want to give 343 my best wishes for this game, for their company, for their effort they’ve put into the halo series and keeping it alive since Bungie…And I’m sure there are others that feel this same way. I sincerely hope this patching can be resolved, because they are losing players due to this, and geting refunds…Which no company likes…Halo Wars 1 wasn’t as popular as it should have been, this game has so much potential it’s unreal…Though if this is going to be consistent at every game release + balancing, Technical, issues; The company is for sure going to fail or turn into another COD copy paste game for money grabbing.

I’m playing on PC, not Xbox, Still F’in waiting on a patch. I shouldnt HAVE to pay for a game, 80+ US, then wait a month just to play it.

Patch has been out for hours now. You have to manually start the download through the Windows Store app.

I’ve just re-downloaded the game and it’s still doing the same thing, instant crash on attempt to launch. I also did the “Check for updates” through the store app, and it’s not detecting, or queing. I know that Updates will install upon game launch, but it won’t launch still.
