I think it would be a cool idea to have the ability to wage Req Points before the game starts agaisnt the other team. And then if no enough people wager then the bets don’t fall through. Any ideas on this or thoughts to make it better?

it’s for fun, and puts a little edge on every game.
This would actually be a good idea.
For example FFA you wager 3000 RP and 1st gets you 5000 RP back (2000 profit), 2nd gets you 4250 back (1250 profit) and 3rd gets you 3500 back (500 profit).
Or team arena where you each bet 7500 and the winners each get back 10000 (2500 RP profit).

I love this idea! I love betting on sports. My friends and I used to bet money on matches back in system link and halo 2 days.

no, because you’re taking from the other player that loses, it makes you compete harder cause you don’t wanna lose your points.

Uh this game is based upon shooting people in the head, blowing them up with rockets and ramming into them with cars (warthogs). A little betting should be the least of the worrys for kids.

well if you don’t want to bet you don’t have to, it’s just fun anyways. Since the RP you win still goes to rng based rewards.

teams of 4 are already stomping single players, like this would change that?
It would definitely make for a more entertaining way to earn req points but also might help add anot her reason to play competitively
