I’m new to online gaming. This is the first game that I’ve really gotten into online and as much as I love it, I can’t keep up with the abbreviations. Such as btb, FFA, and a ridiculous amount of others. I known that the abbreviations are Halo specific, but is there a list of these that I can look over so I can follow the forums a little better?

H:CE, or H1: Halo Combat Evolved - H:CEA: Combat evolved anniversary. - H2, H3, H4; Fairly obvious- Halo 2-4. - H2A: Halo 2 Anniversary. - H3A: A theoretical Halo 3 Anniversary. - H5, or H5G; Halo 5. - H:R: Halo Reach. - H:ODST: Halo 3: ODST.And of course, game modes, which was probably more the focus, here-
BTB: Big Team Battle. - FFA: Free For All. (This one is pretty common in online gaming.) - CTF: Capture the Flag. - KoTH: King of The Hill. - OB: OddBall.Thats a basic rundown of what I can think of- But is likely by no means complete.

There’s also this list which has a pretty good amount of Halo, Waypoint, and general internet abbreviations listed. Though it, too, is missing some of the ones you can run into because abbreviations are just so plenty. After all, you can abbreviate anything, or, YCAA for short.
