Look, I love the gameplay and cosmetics aren’t necessarily the most important thing to me, but I’ve gotten the ultimate challenge done every week, and this week’s reward just seems weak to me.
I like the look of the weapon coating, but really, it’s only on the sniper rifle? I don’t even use the sniper a lot. I would not have bothered completing the ultimate challenge if I had realized that at the time.
Just asking to make rewards a little more generalized, or better yet, let color pallets be used across all weapons and armor cores! There’s been plenty of discussion of “colors should be free”. I think this is a reasonable stance, considering Halo’s history of a robust color palette coming stock with the game. I’m not against monetization of appearance as a whole, but it’s a little extreme.
Still haven’t spent a dime on the game. No battle pass, no shop purchases, no campaign purchase. I would be open to buying the battle pass if I thought it was worth the money, and I want to play the campaign, but I am holding out on giving 343 a dime until some things are fixed. Vote with your wallet and all that. In the mean time, I’m going to continue to play the free version of the game and enjoying it.
