Armor Abilities will not be in Halo 4,Hate to break it to the reach kids BUT…I don’t believe 343 will make up a plot hole and say "hey let’s put AA’s on the crashing ship and chief jet packs to safety NO that ain’t happening first off it doesn’t make sense chronologically and second that just sounds straight of RUCKING FETARDED.

What I’m trying to say is, we know next to nothing about Halo 4. Don’t state things as facts when you really don’t know.
While it’s not impossible that Armour Abilities appear in Halo 4, it seems very unlikely. Frankie has mentioned several times that they’re basing themselves off of what made the different games great, sticking more towards the Halo 1 feel (which could mean exploration and mystery, but probably gameplay as well) as well as adding in new stuff. Bringing back Armour Abilities would annoy a lot of fans as well as go against doing new things.

Bungie has historically been Campaign first in terms of sandbox design and judging from most of what we’ve heard about through interviews etc., it sounds like 343 has taken the same approach.
Based on this, I would agree that we probably won’t see the return of AA’s simply due to the story.
…however, I’m sure there will be some form of “new technology” to replace it. My guess would be it will operate similar to how equipment did in Halo 3.
I could also see, however, there being alternative version of the “combat skins” with unique abilities resembling a cross between metroid and AA’s.

343 have already balanced out the current set of armor abilities in Reach, and I personally think they are fairly against any AAs in Halo 4. Or is that just hope and optimism from me?

I’ve been around since CE. Halo 2 was what got me into it though. Gotta love that Splitscreen Coop. I was 12 when I picked up the controller. Now, I am a fed up Marine about to be shipped out. Rotating back to the world was better than I thought it would, seeing as PEOPLE were what I was trying to get away from. It’s easier to ignore people when they don’t speak your language.
