AAs already ruined two Halo games

Please don’t let them ruin a third.

AAs allow people to differentiate their gameplay too much. Very few people like playing against people who are playing a completely different play style than they are. It’s a frustrating experience. If you don’t use camo playing against camo is pure frustration because it is too different. Same for jetpack, armour lock etc

Yes, COD allows players to customise their playstyle. But to a very small degree. It’s almost an illusion since no matter you choose you still play very similiar to everyone else.

Halo’s MP popularity has been in a nose dive for two games now. Both games had AAs. It’s time to try something new.

I respect your input, In my opinion AA’s, sprint and load-outs are just too much. on the other side, 99% of people liked them. I did too, for the first month or so. it was new then came the BS (camo + large map + sniper) you get the gist of what I’m saying? It isn’t just camo though. It was everything in general. Looking back through the past two games, what was the point in them?

It was to compete with CoD and look where it ended. people say things like “Halo 3 was the only real MP back then. now there’s competition” - That’s a unproven remark.

I understand why they did it fully. They just went around it the wrong way and don’t want to admit or make it worth their time again, we’re just supposed to just get on with it and adapt. I could go on but I don’t want to sound like I’m ranting.

Bottom line is.

All AA’s are useless and offer only slight game changing in a 1v1 scenario.
Sprint can be a good thing. But why do I run out of energy? I’m a bloody spartan, I should be able to reload during sprint.
Everybody should start with the same weapon. Unless it’s a new game type (Think BF4)

I find AA’s to work very well in Halo 4. But Jetpack needs to never come back. And Active Camo needs to be a powerup again. All the others work very well within the sandbox.

Plus, people say Halo has nothing unique to it anymore. But AA’s are unique to Halo. Wouldn’t they be contradicting themselves by saying they want the one unique thing to Halo gone?

Agree it’s really annoying trying to use cover or when you’re on higher ground only to have some schmo fly over with a rocket equipped

I think AAs should be changed into equipment ala Halo 3. Yes, you can have a jetpack, but it has a finite amount of fuel. Once it’s used up, you are earthbound until you find another one. And I would remove them from loudouts. It would be easy enough to string a few pieces of equipment around the initial spawns so that everyone gets a chance at one, and we could also bring back older toys like bubble shields, deployable cover, and trip mines.
