I died because my shield didn’t recharge fast enough during a Killing Frenzy. Then I went reckless, died, called in an Incineration Cannon, and blasted their whole -Yoinking!- team.
And I made somebody suicide with the HLS. 
Made up for my rage. And no, the DMR today did not me bother.

On a more serious note, shield recharge rates are something to get used to. They are too slow in my honest opinion but these are the changes we have to deal with. In future, take into account those recharge rates and you’ll get those Perfections.

How is dying twice coming close to a Perfection?
It’s not like you killed 18 in a row then died twice, you killed 10 in a row then died, so you was still 5 kills off getting the running riot medal before you died the 1st time.

I went 19-0 in Infinity BTB and it didn’t count towards perfection, my team won too.
Well, once I almost got a perfection until some BK with an automatic came kamikaze on me with plasma nades… For a total of 1 death in that game with a running riot.

I once killed a guy on Vortex with a very long distance Incineration Cannon shot just as he was climbing into a fresh Wraith. There was only a minute left in the game and he ended up with 16 kills and 1 death.

If you camp to get your perfection, you’re doing it wrong.

I have read this a few times about people getting Perfections in BTB but not counting, I was luckly I guess as all mine counted & I have that commendation completed!
one time i got yoinked for a perfection. was playing BTIS on exile, we had 940 points while the other team sucked and was at like 430. i was 21-0 and then the game died to a lag and put everyone back in the lobby, as if the game never happened lol

I felt a little bad about it, but it was his own teammate’s fault. I had just picked up the Incineration Cannon off a pair of his buddies in the central structure. They almost had the drop on me until I took them out with only a hologram and some frags.

Happened to me, too. A few times, actually.
Just got my 16th perfection last night on Adrift. Easiest one I’ve gotten so far and 10th overall in Infinity Team Slayer.
Just hopped on Halo 3 and got a perf, first game. No unexpected ordnance power weapons or camo camped DMR spam shots to screw it up. Just me, a BR and a bunch of noobs. Plus, I get that shiny blue and black medal.
