AA or Armor effect?

I noticed this:

[search for 6:19]

the player with the sword was surrounded by some sort of red lightning.

Any thoughts because i really hope its not an armor effect

[Also 6:30]

I see the words “Infinity Slayer” a few seconds into the video.

He got a powerup from an ordinance drop.
