I have thought about how could 343i make AA’s more adventurous. I bet your wondering how would a grappling hook work? Well wonder no more.
A grappling hook would be attached to the spartans wrist and be used to help the spartan get to places like ledges at a certain distance. NOW I bet your thinking why dont I just use the jetpack? Well go ahead but heres something the grappling hook can do that a jet pack never could.
vehicles
Simple as peas. Use the grappling hook like you normaly would on a near enemy vehicle. for a warthog You can then use it to climb up to the gunner at a certain pace but there should be certain dangers to avoid. The gunner should be able to shoot you if noticed and the spartan on the grappling hook should avoid bumps and walls to avoid shield damage. A banshee could
Rockets
This one is mainly for shortcuts but mostly for fun! If you are quick enough you can use your grappling hook to attach yourself to a rocketand once the rocket has detonated you automaticaly detach.
I came up with the whole idea from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0ba8G4jbqk its just something I think can make multiplayer more adventurous and exciting in a big team or something.
Have a think about how else it could be used and would you want this to be in halo 4? Thanks for reading
Wow I left Halo: reach forums from bungie months ago. Now Ive finaly started to get myself to go on these forums and I now find that your all still immature and ignorant. I pitch a simple idea and everyone seems to be “NOO!!! TERRIBLE I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE!”
Now in the nicest way possible. The most part of the community doesn’t like such complicated ideas. And they don’t like gamebreaking mechanics like these. The simplest your idea is, the better. And it shouldn’t affect gameplay. Try making more ideas like, for example, FLARES. I see you are new so I’m sorry for that little disrespectful answer by me. I think we all see your little TU sucks thing down there, I wonder why, maybe the OP likes bad and over powered spawn-withs because being skilled and getting his own equipment is to hard if it isn’t a totally silly grappling hook oh and just asking are you either venetical leaf or general cube’s alternate account or just a new to waypoint guy

This is, by far, the most STUPID idea I’ve heard for… forever.
This isn’t Zelda, y’know. I just pray that 343 ignores this guy, because he knows NOTHING about halo.
