I agree with all of those except the one map thing for forge. If they do most of those, we’ll have one hell of a Halo.

Campaign - Do whatever you want, 343. Just, don’t try to go for the “Military campaign” of Reach.

Multiplayer - I’d like to see innovations in all the right areas. I want them to take risks and try something new. However, I also want a place for classic halo. A small hopper that’s just guns, grenades, and melee. Satisfy both crowds.

Customs - Just make it so we can tweak everything. Please. Everything.

Forge - Terrain editor. Texture painter. 'Nuff said.

Firefight - Give me an AI path editor along with the updated Forge and you’ll have won my heart.

2 dedicated BTB maps, 5 dedicated arena maps - 3 of which are symmetric and 2 asymmetric, and then 2 medium-sized maps that are sort of in-between.

I’d like to see:

Valhalla
New BTB map a cross between Sand Trap and Spire, and by that I mean Heliphants flying around a tower.
High Ground
New Asymmetric Medium-Sized Map
Midship
Oasis
New Symmetric Arena Map
Guardian
New Asymmetric Arena Map

Lastly forge world 2. Hopefully with forge world 2 we can see one GOOD BTB map, and a couple decent arena maps make it into playlists.

I’d like to see the BTB playlist rocking 5 maps, and then the rest of the playlists will be running High Ground and the Asymmetric Medium-sized map in addition to the arena maps. All in all, probably 10-ish maps for standard playlists.

Eventually of course I’d like to see the playlists updated with good forged variants, but probably good to just start off around that size.

Most of my Halo 4 ideas are for forge.

More fun weapons like the golf club gravity hammer, like having a sword reskinned as a boxing glove or a foam dart-shooting assault rifle.

Highlighting multiple forge objects and saving them as a whole object in custom object folders so if you build a real awesome looking base and want to make a symmetrical map you can save the base you just made and create a new one on the other side. Or if you make a teleporter you’d want to put in another map you can save it and able to make another one whenever.

Scaling forge objects. Ramp not wide or long enough to fit where you want it? Scale it to be big enough (This might cause some texture problems though…)

Skyboxes and time of day. Want a nighttime map? Make one! Want your map to be set on a halo or the ark? Change the skybox to the one with a halo ring sweeping above it or one with the arc’s arms stretching outward into the sky.

One for multiplayer: Multiple game types in one! It might end up being a real cluster-BLAM! but it sounds awesome on paper to me, like making a game type where you gain points by killing enemy players, taking capture points, and capping flags.

Firefight:

-Semi Forgeable, i.e. choose where dropships spawn, AI paths, ammo crate/weapon drops are, and maybe even build small bases.

-A Randomized assault game mode on Heroic or higher, to get the same feel of ODST’s Firefight. Never knew what was coming next or from where.

-Maybe drop pod spawns. Where in the beginning of the game you spawn in a cruiser and take a drop pod to a large scale battle.

-LARGER maps

-More marine AI’s.

-Flood Fight Option

Forge:

-Paints, for climate and weather.

-More natural options, Trees, Rocks, maybe evens hills and rivers.

Multiplayer:

-ELITES

Theatre:

-Better options for Machinima, but don’t take everything over.

Campaign:

-Stick with the old formula.
