C) 343 plans on revealing something soon, completely unrelated to the toy show, which very well likely could be after the toy show. Remember that 2 of the toys are objects we have already seen; John and the Warthog.
There is no reason to think that there will be more than 2 or 3 toys shown of a lineup that is nearly a year away. Remember that last year toys shown were still in early clay phase or w/e it was where it was simple concept without painting/polish/etc.
People are just getting antsy to get some new info because it is what they are used to from Bungie. As we all know, this is no longer Bungie, so they are marching by the beat of their own drum at 343. Toy fairs have never revealed anything for the first time in all of Halo history. Another recent rumor is a Superbowl commercial; possible? yes, likely? no. Why would 343/MS waste literally hundreds of millions of dollars to put a commercial in the most expensive time slot of the whole year when they know full well that Halo 4 has enough constant press and demand that any time slot would cause millions of people to watch whatever show it is between, even if it was The Bachelor or whatever you want to pick.
343i will reveal Halo 4 on their own time, on their own website, as they should. If we get anything from the toy show, in my opinion, it will be an accidental slip. Even so, what are they going to slip? There or forerunners? Who would be shocked with this? Flood? etc. Expect something in the next 3-4 weeks, completely unrelated to a toy fair.

It isn’t even McFarlane that is going to be showing stuff, Re:creation is going to be showing diecast models.

Yeah yeah, sorry. Anyway, I agree. We will see nothing amazing, perhaps a hog and Chief but it is better than nothing. Hell, it could be very useful.
