A Word On Mutiplayer Killcams

Let me just say I am tired of people posting on the forums and making youtube videos about “how someone was not even aiming at them based on the killcam”. Word to all halo 4 players the killcams are BROKEN and I repeat BROKEN they DO NOT show what is actually happening correctly. I have hardly ever seen a killcam that shows what actually happens. Most of the time someone isn’t even shooting at you (when looking at the killcam) but that does not mean that they aren’t hitting you.

Now my best guess as to why these killcams don’t work is simply connection. I don’t know if you all have noticed but if you don’t get matched on a good connection the hit detection is terrible and so are the killcams. On really good connection games the hit detection is amazing and the game plays fantastically, not only this the killcams also work better but still not perfectly.

Let me further explain how killcams look on good connections, since we all already know how they look on bad connections because the chance of getting a good connection game is like 1 in 100. The person shooting you on the killcam (on a good connection) is actually looking in your direction and about 2 thirds of the time his reticule is actually on your body. The killcam also, will usually show around two missed shots. Like I said the killcam is still flawed but improved (on a good connection) and the killcams probably will never show anything 100% so please just stop thinking “if the killcam shows it, it must be true”.

I haven’t played a game with a good connection since halo 3. Also, every time I die, the killcam shows the guy looking up his own -Yoink!- in the opposite corner of the map of that he supposedly killed me in. I should have spent the 60 dollars I used on this game for toilet paper from all the diarrhea rage from Reach.
