No good players actually care about their K/D. It’s all about win rate and rank. You can bloat a K/D but you can’t bloat a high rank and high win/loss.
I agree 100% k/d in a game where teamwork is the most powerful thing, is pointless. All that matters is the W.

Ah crap, I suck then. I like having a positive K/D. Wouldn’t exactly say my life would end if it was negative but I do like to know I inflict more deaths than I suffer.

Little cod 12 yr olds think k/d is the best and will want to do just that- not help teammates and complain about losing games where they go 9-2 camping lol

You’re KDR is 1.111
I’ve found that paying more attention to your accuracy then your KD helps a ton because you actually focus more on hitting the person than stressing yourself over kills. Plus you will most likely get the kill if you hit them with every shot.

It completely skews the numbers and makes the ratio (more) meaningless though. SWAT players for example who get extremely low assist counts will have much lower KDA but that doesn’t mean they’re actually bad.
