A Weekend of Strongholds, Please!

Personally, I’m a big fan of Strongholds and would love to see it get its own playlist for a weekend/week as we’ve seen with CTF and other modes.

Any chance we may see that happen or is it just not popular enough?

I wish we’d get dedicated playlists for the different gametypes so we don’t have to wait for random chance to favor us if we’d like to focus on their respective commendations.

I wouldn’t mind it, but tbh I’d rather a chance to play Oddball in matchmaking so would prefer that, or Crazy King if they created it.

I love Strongholds. I think early on it had a vote option to be a weekend play list but Snipers beat it out.

It is absolutely happening at some point, yes!

A few hours before Hammer Storm dropped, a new playlist called “Social Strongholds” showed up on the Playlists section of the API but hasn’t actually been enabled yet. Presumably at some point, it will be used for the weekly social playlist.

Other playlists that showed up were:

  • Social CTF - Social Slayer - Social Fiesta - Social AssaultTwo of which have actually been enabled so far.

I feel like that’s a double edged sword. I’d like to work on some of those as well but I’m afraid too many separate playlists would thin the playing herd too much and leave me playing people well out side my skill.
Thats one reason I like the weekly rotating playlist - I can catch some casuals in the playlist and do some work!
