i was wondering if you could ask someone that has blue flames if they could put it to a thumb drive and send it in the mail so you can plug it in to your xbox and copy it to your files, would this work? sorry if I sound stupid!
There is currently no way to unlock Blue Flames. Sorry.
It would be nice if you could do that, because then we could share the map packs too 
But there is an owner thing in the storage and even if i transfer it to you, you won’t be able to use it.

Not even that, Blue Flames didn’t come with a download. It was simply locked to the disk, there is no way to get it anymore. Sorry OP.

Would it be impossible for 343 to make it available to us again, i mean werent they handed everything. I personally missed out on this due to having newborns to take care of so it would be great if they did something again and i believe it would get players back on Reach even if its only for one day.

It was a Bungie exclusive, highly doubt it will ever show up again. 343i have no involvement in past Bungie deals. 343i can make changes to playlists, game settings in the games. 343i shouldn’t give out anymore blue flames or the blue flames would be meaningless. Bungie/343i have both fair as it is when they gave recon to everyone even though a fair amount didn’t deserve it and you shouldn’t demand something that you couldn’t be bothered making time for. They gave the offer for blue flames several times. It’s been said ‘no’ too many times.

It was available for a whole month last year, and all you had to do was click a button on the website. If you missed it, you missed it.
Also, it is very meaningful. It was a gift from Bungie to celebrate ten years of Halo and the end of an era.

They won’t make them available again for two reasons. The first being that it was a gift from Bungie, if you missed it too bad. It doesn’t matter what reason you have.
The second of which would be that they can’t, the only way to get it is to have the Bungie Nameplate. It’s connected to the flames and you need it, 343 doesn’t support Nameplates for Halo Reach. That was deemed nonessential and rightly so.
Even if 343 wanted to give you the flames, they can’t and they wouldn’t out of respect for Bungie.

Once again; you can’t get them anymore. It was for Bungie fans. There was plenty of time to get the flames, and if you didn’t grab them it’s your own fault. Sorry.
First off, you’re asking the same thing as asking: “Can someone download a map pack, put it on a flash drive, and send it to me?” It’s not possible.
Second, the Blue Flames are actually on the disk itself, and only unlocked to verified accounts. It’s not DLC.
Third, I honestly hope they do not give it to everyone. It was something exclusive for those who stuck around on Reach, and followed Bungie’s website. It would completely lose it’s appeal if EVERYONE had it.
It’s kinda like Recon in Halo 3… now that EVERYONE has it, it’s not that special, and for those like myself who were given Recon by Bungie before it’s public release through the Vidmaster achievements, it kinda took away that uniqueness of it.

What he needs to do is unearth a Stargate, use it to go and find an alien race that can accurately predict solar weather, then use their knowledge to have the Stargate’s wormhole reflect back off of a solar flare correctly to send him back in time a year or so (being sure to bring the equipment needed to dig himself out of wherever the Stargate was buried).
That’s way more scientifically plausible than what you guys were saying!
