A very negative community

Evry time a new fps gets released (including halo games) there is always a general consensus of hate towards it . When reach came out , everyone was like 'this is -Yoink- halo 2 is still the best '. Now people say 'Even reach was better than halo 4 , but halo 3 was the best '. In fact these whole forums are full off people mouthing off about the low quality of the game. Doesn’t anyone see the trend ? When bfbc2 came out there was a general feeling of how crap it was. Now that bf3 is out people talk about 'The good old days of bfbc2 ’ when in reality the very same people were mouthing off about its lack of quality when it was the main game. Maybe people who dislike things are just more verbal than ones who enjoy them , or maybe nostalgia keeps people in an illusion , or it could be that people are scared of the unknown , and of change . Or maybe people are just general douchbags . Now please don’t hate on me , because I know complaining about complaining can seem kinda limited , but forums are for opinions right?
My fingers are bleeding from typing the lengthy scripture now :frowning:

My bad not limited limited , stupid ipad

Ahhhh waypoint won’t let me say r e t a r d e d

Try to find/listen to the people who speak with a level headed intelligence over the ones blinded by nostalgia(which is the majority of most communities). You will find them when they have correct grammar and put interesting open ideas for everyone.
Ignore everyone that “rage types” on the forum. The trend will never end either which is sad to say so be a hipster and DON’T COMPLAIN.

It’s done for a reason, and working around the word filter is also a bad idea, not having a go at you, just giving you the heads up.

Sweet. Do mods ban you or something?

There are always lots of blind complaints and complainers, particularly after a game’s release.

There are just as many blind supporters.

The trick is to finding the balance between pointless complaints and justified complaints.

Same with the supporters.

It goes both both ways.

“Try to find/listen to the people who speak with a level headed intelligence over the ones blinded by nostalgia(which is the majority of most communities). You will find them when they have correct grammar and put interesting open ideas for everyone”.

Agreed. There are lots of worthwhile suggestions and solutions on the Forums and lots of complaints and issues are maturely identified and brought up.

I also agree with ignoring the “OMGGZzH4kXORSHalo4izWURST EVA!” types.

‘limited’.

Oh you’re right, it does change it to ‘limited’. Interesting.

> Sweet. Do mods ban you or something?

I expect you will earn a ban if you continue to break the rules.

hahaha…limited.

> Sweet. Do mods ban you or something?

yes. beware.

The rules are limited.

If companies stopped putting out -Yoink- games than the previous entry in the series then you wouldn’t see this trend.

In all honesty Halo 4 isn’t THAT bad and they don’t need to do a lot to turn it from a very mediocre game that collapses on itself with how much it caters to noobs into a decent shooter.

It’s not impossible. Treyarch turned Black Ops 2 from the worst entry in the series into a decent game within 3 months but 343i are mostly fixing -Yoink- I didn’t even know was broken.

You mean like Aliens: Colonial Marines?
Besides this trend will exist and be just as noticeable no matter how good the next game(s) are/will be. No matter what people are going to rage over something then turn it into a serious issue for no reason like the Reach DMR bloom situation.
