First of all, I just want to say that this isn’t a stupid rant about how Halo 4 is “not as good as the other ones.” Anyway, I was playing ricochet and having an amazing game when I finally ended with 0 deaths and 22 kills. I was pretty proud of this so I went and checked my medals. No perfection medal. Was this just a weird glitch or do perfections not work on ricochet? This happened to me on Reach once too.
Isn’t it 25 kills though? I actually did this, but was a CTF game on complex, so didn’t count :-/

Perfections are slayer only and there are no medals for it in Halo 4. Instead there’s a commendation for perfections.
Perfections have always been Slayer only and there is a good reason why.
So you went 22-0 in Ricochet where the objective is to score. Some players really focus on the objective and not so much killing. This makes objective gametypes incredibly easy to get flawless games on. In Slayer the Objective is to kill the opponent, not score goals. In Slayer, you become the objective. Forget how bad the opponents were (I mean you don’t get flawless gameplays against good players), imagine you played them in Slayer where all 4 are trying to kill you. It makes the Perfection much harder to get and a respectable achievement. Flawless games in objective is just far to easy to get. I have maybe over 50 games of going flawless (15±0) in all Halo games and only 7 have been in Slayer (3 robbed from me by doubles quitters…).
