So I have spent the last few months playing Halo MCC on PC, I recently got Halo 5 Guardians & Halo MCC on Xbox after acquiring an Xbox Series S. I play Halo using a controller on both PC & Xbox - I was disappointed that settings I had changed on Halo MCC (PC Ver) didnt cross over when I played on Xbox, things like Strick Deadzones, FOV Sliders, Button Layouts etc
ive spent a few hours trying to get my scheme on Halo 5 as close to as I have it on Halo MCC as well.
I was thinking would it be possible to say adjust & save controller/Game settings using Halo Waypoint as the source for configuration and it applied to the Halo games you are on regardless of the platform? So your control settings & scheme is set to a profile you could just apply to when you any of the Halo Games this would include Infinite too!
Yesssss same, I hope we get 100% button customisation with infinite so I can play with what feels more natural to me when playing, MCC should be like this by default - if you can 100% alter controls on keyboard why not controller

Do you think there is going to be universal controls for the halo master chief collections. Halo 3 really turned me into a fan of bumper jumper, but it isn’t available in Halo 1 or Halo 2. What did they do for halo 1 anniversary? Did they remake the controls? Or maybe I can go back to the Halo 2 claw.

You can have a control scheme apply to all of the halo games on the MCC, its just some functions like boost for example wouldnt be on the older games so it would make a button useless. For me I use Halo 4s control scheme across the MCC while Alas I do have the series 2 controller so I map functions to paddles as well!
