Could master chief have a scene where he is put on trial? OK, this is how I think it will go. Chief and blue team battle fireteam Osiris, but chief saves blue team and gets himself captured, as he is being taken he tells Locke something that proves chief is a hero or he is needed to save humanity. Then the trial scene. The music needs to get more and more intense as the scene unfolds. Chief gives his speech, but one by one the jury says he is guilty, just as the music reaches its high point, Locke and blue team burst through a wall, switch to playing as Locke. Then there is a mission to get chief out.
While that’s an interesting idea, I think you should leave the writing and plot to 343i.

I don’t mind the court scene…Maybe… I mean, I’m kinda iffy.
But I really wouldn’t like the whole “Locke and Blue Team blast in to save the day” thing.
