What if, we had flashlights, on our weapons, or the weapons that had flashlights anyway, or on our helmet, mix that with any dark maps and it’s gonna be great for flood mode
I miss flash lights from the other halos, mainly Halo CE.
Yep, this would certainly make for a pretty cool game variant. Imagine…
‘A dark corridor. The only way to see would be to activate your flash light. The corridor leads to a central area, where there is a small bit of natural light leaking through a crack in the ceiling. There is three other corridors leading to the room, and there would be multiple floors, plenty of places for both human and flood players to sneak and hide in.’
This is the sort of map I would make in forge, if that ‘dynamic lighting’ actually enables you make a really dark map. Of course, we need the flash lights as well.
All in all… yes, bring the flash lights back. They need a battery life though, like in Halo CE.
Slender variant anyone?

A really awesome horror game based on the urban myth of the Slenderman. You’re trapped in the woods with nothing but a flashlight, and you are being stalked by the Slenderman. It’s a free download, so look it up, and give it a try. Makes for some good fun with friends!

Nah, think I’ll pass. I’m not into all that horror stuff.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, Flashlights would be awesome, and if used in combat scenarios, could turn the battle around if you blind someone with the light
eh, ive played bf3 and flashlights are frowned upon. But if 343i could make it to where there would be less glare then yes, it would be a good idea.
