For the longest time I could never get that first Legendary boss on M.O.S. But now I’ve figured out the quickest way to eliminate him, and it’s very effective and thought I’d share for those who get frustrated by losing those legendaries to the enemy.
As you may or not know, killing Knights can actually be a very quick task. Knock off a shoulder piece, and they’ll open their face mask. If that happens you need to get a headshot quickly, or you’ll miss your chance and have to knock off the other shoulder for another headshot opportunity. After that you can also just smack it in the back to KO it. So eliminating Lochagos or any Knight boss can happen very quickly if you land that first headshot. But with all the enemies in the Fortress, both AI and players alike, it’s hard to have enough to time to break off his shoulder and get that quick kill without being interrupted. I’ve found that the quickest way to do it is to grab a suppressor after you clear out your home bass or armory. The Suppressor is one of the quickest ways to pop off his shoulder piece, as it auto locks onto the glowing weak spot and quickly destroys it. As opposed to using you Magnum or AR which takes more time and effort to aim and destroy the shoulder. Swap over to your magnum and land the headshot. The process is so quick that you can normally do it before any AI enemies get the chance to kill you. Promethean grenades are also a good way to kill him too, but the likeliness of you getting any at the beginning is pretty low.
