After playing a few games of Halo: Reach after a three month hiatus, I was quickly reminded of how irritating armor lock is. It became clear almost immediately how game-breakingly OP it was, and that it was in my opinion, a huge problem in Halo: Reach.
So thank you 343, for removing it and replacing it with the hardlight shield. While I might not agree with you as far as the pre-order bonuses go, I think the gameplay changes made will ultimately result in a unique, fun experience. Thank you 343.
And my stepbrother wants to know, Will Master Chief’s variation of the Mark VI be usable in multiplayer?

Supposably not as it’s ‘Cortana’s special unique’ armor she made for Chief.
But hopefully we’ll see it available later on. I actually prefer it over GEN1 Mk. VI

I gotta agree, although the last time I got into BTB in reach, that was my go-to armor ability. But with all the vehicles and power weapons, it was never a big deal there. The Hardlight shield actually looks really good, it’s like the ideas people on the Reach forums came up with . . . the few who came up with ideas instead of constant flaming . . . has bad memories and leaves

I always used sprint.
But I’ll probably use the hardlight shield, despite my resentment of armor lock.
