A suggestion to 343 in light of Servers Down:

Hey guys

I love your work. Halo 4 is the first games in AGES that has motivated me to get a Gold subscription to Live - so good job on that. Further to that, I’m playing from Cape Town, South Africa, and I can actually play Halo 4 with decent pings and pretty much NO lag… Can’t say the same for most other games.

Anyhow, getting to the point - you’ve got fans and faithfuls complaining about server downage, but there’s NO OFFICIAL RESPONSE FROM THE TOP!! This is unacceptable, and casts a poor light on you and the way in which you’ve taken over the reins of the Halo Franchise.

So, my suggestion:

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE A PAGE OUT OF THE BOOK OF ACTIVISION/BLIZZARD!!!

Respond to your fans. Listen to their requests. Give us what we want, and we’ll keep on cherishing your brand and franchise. Do not let your reputation be tarnished. Please.

Sorry OP, but when it comes to communication, 343 avoids it’s fans at all cost. Just look through the forums, they have yet to respond to a single issue. (I’m not counting their twitter replies because that’s a joke). I would LOVE for them to start answering any of the hundred topics listed in the forums about why this game needs to be updated and patched.

While communication is key, it usually always comes back to bite us in the -Yoink-. DICE listens to their community for BF3. Unfortunately they only listen to the whiners and nerf babies. I feel like 343 just needs to fix the key issues and leave the game be and ignore the whiners and nerfbabies. Aside from obvious problems, the game is fine.
