It would be nice to be able to create a squad so your friends can join your squad and work as a team!
You can set up a squad, it just never puts you in the same squad when joining a match, it sucks but I bet it’s because every squad needs 4 players and could be awkward say there’s squads of 4, 3, 3 & 2. The 2 would have to be split.
I have 4 friends all the time when we play so there should not be and issue!

TBH they should just get rid of squads. It adds nothing.
I’m sorry, but what even is a squad? Is op talking about a fireteam for matchmaking?
In BTB You have 3 squads of 4 players that make up the 12 person team.
For some reason even if you party up with 4 people you will be put into different squads.
They have no use.
I feel like they are there so you only get a cycle of 4 Spartans doing their pregame stretches’ instead of cycling through all 12. But that is another thing I would not mind to get patched out.

Although the game does highlight your squad with green names instead of blue which makes it easy to keep track of them, however it’s not too helpful when you get separated form the people in your party that are miced up.
I don’t think this not something 343i has done intentionally. A quick fix could be to get rid of squads and have the people in your party have green text like they do in other playlists.
O well I still think it would be nice to have 4 of your friends in the same squad. I had on one game with me and my 3 friends we on the same squad. It was great! We use Teamspeak for our communications!
