I was in customization checking out my armors and I thought of something I feel 343 could implement down the road that would give us more choice with customization.
Okay let’s see if I can explain this correct
You go to customization and you pick your armor once in the armor section you can go through helmet or armor coating, visors and so on okay let’s say you click on helmets now you are first looking at all the helmets you own you keep going to the helmets that are locked now you can still click on that locked helmet pull up the page showing what it looks like with you wearing it even attachments but you cannot hit X to equip that helmet.
What if in that screen it has a buy option there, this way you have a slight bit more control on customizing your Spartan, but this will be only items that was once in the store for season 1
If it was part of the battlepass and you did not buy the battlepass for season 1 or complete it there is no buy option. If it was part of an event and you chose to skip that event no option to buy it will be only for items from season 1 that was once in the shop that you can now purchase individually in customization
It never goes away, and it is added to by season meaning Season 2 content from the store gets added with a buy option during season 3 and so on
Instead of 343 micromanaging what we can buy and cannot buy they now give us an option to buy past items from the shop separately
My roommate has a helmet he wanted but it was part of a bundle with nothing else but the helmet he cared about but now he can click on that helmet and click on buy for whatever price 343 decides to price helmets maybe 200 for epic and 300 for legendary helmets.
