Lots of people are worried about the current state of custom games. I find it hard to even get a custom game going despite having a handful of friends that play Halo 4. However, I might have found a solution.
Bring Back Clans.
Call it what you want, because I know you guys don’t like the sound of the word “clan”. But you have to admit, these were very useful for getting a plethora of people into custom games within a short period of time. Back in Halo 2, custom games were huge because of clans (and a tight-knit community).
My Rationale:
I could invite friends and clan members, then whoever joins could invite their friends and clan members, and the trend continues until I’ve got a jam-packed game.
As an added bonus, custom games would probably be a lot more popular than they are now. That would mean even more people would recognize that custom games are lacking options and possibly stimulate the demand for more custom games content.
