a solution that BENEFITS both ends of the community.

So I’ve been playing the title updated playlist and honestly, I preferred the original settings and there are others that would agree with me. However there are many parts of the community that prefers the new changes to matchmaking Thus creating conflict in games where I see players feel ignored – even though that most likely isn’t the case. So here is my proposal to satisfy all parts of the community, Set up a new matchmaking playlist that contains only the original matchmaking settings before the title update. It would probably look like this.

Anniversary
Competitive
Cooperative
Community
Primordial
-Primordial FFA
-Primordial Team Slayer
-Primordial objective
-Primordial Big Team
-Primordial Team Doubles __________________________________________________________________________________

For those who doesn’t know what the definition of “primordial” is, here it is, so that I don’t have to read post saying i’m using words that sound like “primordium”.

pri·mor·di·al [prahy-mawr-dee-uhl]
adjective
1.
constituting a beginning; giving origin to something derived or developed; original; elementary: primordial forms of life.
2.
Embryology . first formed.
3.
pertaining to or existing at or from the very beginning: primordial matter.

It doesn’t have to be that word in particular, But that is aside the point. The point I’m trying to make is that there needs to be a playlist for those like me and others who probably never played the game before the update. This way, those who have adjusted to the changes or prefer the update can still have the playlist as it is and those who prefer the original reach matchmaking settings can have their own playlist, and honestly I don’t see how anyone can disagree.

Uh or just “Vanilla”…

That would put Reach over their playlist limit (which is around 26 I think). They only have room for maybe one or two more playlists as it is.

Or just make on playlist with a mixture of objective and slayer.

I agree with you, TU is ruining this game for me. I’d be happy if they introduced a new playlist for all the people who like TU or just have map/game types that say “TU” or not when voting

i hardly think the solution to all of our problems is making MORE playlists.

the playlists are hardly populated at all to begin with. the last thing we need is more playlists, especially ones that are catered to the people who dont understand how the TU is better.

I have the solution.

These shall be the hoppers and their playlists:
Halo (TU Settings)
-Team Slayer
-Team Objective
-Rumble Pit
-Arena
-MLG
-Big Team Battle
-Classic Squad*
Firefight
-Firefight
-Firefight Doubles
-Firefight Arcade
Community
-Invasion
-Action Sack
-Infection
Reach (Default Settings)
-Snipers
-SWAT
-Squad*
-Squad BTB*
DLC (Default Settings)
-Squad DLC*

 • Squad playlists consist of both Slayer and Objective gametypes

No TU DLC?

>

Or they could add a TU playlist simply titled “Wannabe’s”
Or you could stop acting like you’re superior to everyone. I guarantee there are hundreds of ‘casuals’ that will wipe the floor with you. Show some respect for your equals.

So you want the vanilla population, but not the settings that keep it around? Learn to respect opinions different from your own and maybe you’ll understand why the TU isn’t necessarily better.

Or leave TS alone and let the TU die in a mixed list (for a second time)

> No TU DLC?

meh…

No, he wants the Halo 3 population that left and the settings that have the potential to be even better than Halo 3’s

rofl - well he’s in for a disappointment then, isn’t he?

Seriously though - everybody is going on about how bad it would be to have multiple playlists. I don’t see how chasing the last chunk of players from the biggest playlist will help the population any more than splitting up the chunks that are willing to play elsewhere.

Most of the people in Slayer have no idea what TU is. Almost every game I search has 0-1 players voting vanilla, anyway.

So how come I am getting such vastly different results than you in Team Slayer?
