Here’s how ranks should generate with the statistics that impact ranks listed from most important to least important.
- Match Objective Participation
- Deaths
- Kills

- Wins

Why are W/L separate, and why is loss more important than win?

probably cause he has more deaths than kills and more losses than wins.
I agree that 343 need to change the way qualifying works, but I don’t like the way you’ve ordered the stats OP. I think it should be:

It’s done in a positive, negative repeating pattern.
win/loss is way more important than K/D, especially in different objective games.

Most players have an average at best impact on W/L while getting carried most of the time.
Where are the:
-Callouts
-Spawn influence
-Power position keeping and contesting
-Power weapon prevention and acquiring
stats?
Oh, right. Players do not play to win anymore. They play to see who’s better at statpadding and trying to explain why they lost but still are better, despite losing would mean being worse than the opponents.
If this was really a smarter way to come down to skill, there’d need to be a mathematical explanation of how exactly that is performed. As of now you’ve listed six things and completely neglected how they mathematically relate to each other, or even how your opponent’s rank should matter.

This. There’s more to winning then pure k/d even in pure TS. How would you differentiate the skill between say the team captain doing callouts and timers, or even someone who assists a lot vs main slayer/ kill sweeper on mainly k/d.
Im in the camp of pure win/loss. Stop worrying about being carried/carry. Play as a team and go up and down till you kind of equalise at 50%.
