I was chatting it up with friends in warzone. We discussed the small intricacies of WZFF and the new forge canvas tidal. As we were spitballing ideas around. I jokingly said. “What if we had Exuberant Witness as a monitor in forge, not just guilty.” And I think we lost that game thinking about that too much. We haven’t had much as CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION for forge. I think we could all have one big canon idea since besides the three everybody knows, Guilty Spark, Exuberant Witness and Mendicant Bias. We could tie all monitors, since there are more than three, if there is more. Sound off if this seems logical below. I love the way Bias looks and it’s the small things that could have a big impact. It’s a nice addition to story and game play overall. Monitors play a huge roll in the story. Why not now?

You serious? You want customisation (different coloured balls) for forge characters? Why though?
First off, you want to make purple into blue?
Second, wh- why?
Third, Mendicant Bias was a Contender-Class ancilla. He wasn’t a monitor.
Finally, the only difference between monitors is colour. Sure it would be neat if you could change the colour but there would be no point.
Can I be one of those floaty spikey balls from Phantasm? That would be cooler than Guilty spark or exuberant witness.
I mean, why not? Wouldn’t hurt anyone, I think.

I thought we were Exuberant in forge.
I mean, yes it seems stupid. But it gives them new colors, maybe even new styles. I thought of it as since only three “variants” kinda exist in canon. It would be fun to see what 343 can do in terms of what monitor is apart of new installations, as a forger (small time, I still kinda suck) it would be cool to have a guilty spark float around a slayer map. Or Exuberant on infection, I just felt 343 has a bit of wiggle room in terms of characters and story, spark ran installation 04, witness ran genesis, well what is the name of say, for a quick point. installation # , is he/she still active, has the flood consumed the installation? Is it a circle shape? Some guy in script and story could cook up it less than 10 minutes, send it to concept, and think of a name like Intrepid Rogue, or Benevolent Exchange. From a person view, yeah it’s a new color of a floating metal ball. I just think since it’s the little things people freak out about (jet sprinting) why not a triangle shaped monitor, or a flood consumed Bias, hell maybe a bean shaped monitor that runs a desert only halo ring. I feel like since the halo rings don’t really play in the main game story after 3, maybe 4, it gives 343 something to consider and something to do instead of sitting around making golden banshees. Maybe unlock them as you progress in rank, so you feel great when you forge knowing you are SR 68, this late the rank thing seems stupid. But playing as what everyone has assuming being Spark, they can spice it up a bit.
I’ve always wanted the Monitor’s colors to match the team you’re on in Forge. Ever since Reach.
