Hey there, everyone! This is my first post on these forums, though I may have already contributed to this community not too long ago. Allow me to introduce myself. My XBL tag is Captn Happen, as you can see, but I go by the moniker “slYnki” on other forums like jumprs.org, High Speed Halo and in the past, High Impact Halo. Me and my friend scurty completed a project entitled “Halo 1 Done Segmented” last year, where we finished the game on Legendary skill in just under 77 minutes. I believe it made it on to this site, but if you’re unfamiliar with this project, you can take a look at it here:
Now, I love speedrunning, but for years I’ve tricked, launched and glitched Halo 1. It’s one of my favorite things to do. My two favorite exploits include launching a scorpion tank to the first bridge on Assault on The Control Room, and launching a tank to the banshee pillar later in the mission. When I got my hands on Anniversary, I was eager to release a little tricking video, showing off some tricks in beautiful HD. So I did =)
For those of you who are familiar with Halo tricking, this should be a nice walk down memory lane. For those unfamiliar, this should be extremely entertaining for you =D. I had a lot of fun working on this video and I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for all the replies! I really appreciate it. I’m glad you all liked it. Sorry for my slightly late reply which is gonna bump this thread a fair bit.
> You have to make more videos like that!!
You can expect quite a few more videos from me. My next project is a little video showing off a bunch of ways to get the Bandanna skull. Gonna be fun times =)

Not at all, my friend.
Banshee out of level glitch. I posted on jumprs how it produces some spectacularly weird results now. That was one of them. For some reason the game loads the area you just left, so I was able to fly through the bridge no problem. I haven’t tested the other areas of the map yet, so I’m looking forward to doing that
Shade turret and a loading glitch! You just have to do the bridge fall, get a banshee, move the shade underneath the bridge to the bottom of that pit, flip it over, trip the loadzone, fly back and you’ll have yourself a grunt. I moved the shade far away to give the illusion that I somehow got the grunt there on his own. Sneaky me.
I was inside a door =). Very useful glitch, particularly for Legendary play throughs.

Oh. That can only be done on Co-op right?
I almost forgot about how Grunts spawn in the Shades! Very clever illusion.
Wow! Was it clipping? Glitching? Or just tricking?

Yep, though I’ve been looking in to doing it in single player.
You can do it with elites too. Fun stuff =D
All you have to do to get inside that door is run towards it as it’s closing, then just stop moving and it’ll close on you. Then the flood can’t see you.
