I think you guys don’t get the joke, he’s basically saying that when Halo 5 comes out, people will say that it sucks so much, that is makes Halo 4 look good. Basically, the same is happening with Reach for many people right now.

Most of us have played Halo since CE days or since Halo 2 days.
Anyone who actually agress with this stuff needs to just quit this game right now. Halo’s rifle is the BR not the DMR. If you think the DMR is a good gun just quit Waypoint and Halo in general.
I started with Halo 3, and didn’t have much care for rank at all until Reach was close to coming about. I was mostly into customs with friends and such. During Reach’s span and now into H4, I appreciate the ranking system H3 had and go back to play that game sometimes to play what I feel Halo should be.
One thing I felt H4 is lacking (and to less of an extent, Reach) is the variety available to us on the map. Armor abilities threw equipment into our loadouts, which gives me the feeling of more repetitive battles. Weapons on map were a of a wider array (Brute Shot here, Hammer there, even a power up), and some maps were interactive (High Ground door, Last Resort road blocks, etc.).
Ordinance drops can arguably bring the weapon variety into play, but I feel it isn’t the same. There’s no risk to hunt down that weapon, and you just never know how many sniper rifles are in circulation on the map.
Simply put, I’m disappointed that AAs have made the arsenals on maps less varied and fights less focused on gunplay sometimes. It is more of a focus of “is my AA ready again?”. I’m enjoying the additions that are coming to Halo 4 that were missing, and I hope Halo 5 fills in the gaps we’re missing.
Infinity Slayer, JiP, loadouts, and Ordinance should stay, but make it the social playlist. Condense the playlists again to preserve player counts across MM.

3: I believe that the BR isn’t the “true Halo rifle”. That would actually be the AR. And In my opinion, the best rifle would be the Carbine., so… opinion.
