So my gamertag, ST LOU1E, was eligible for the halo 4 alpha armor spec code. I was sent a code through xbox live, but it says the code has already been redeemed. I have no idea how this could be, as I have not redeemed any code. In fact, I’ve been waiting on this code for months now, and now that I finally have it, I can’t even use it? This is ridiculous man. I mean, why cant they just GIVE us the codes already instead of all of this red tape? I’ve been waiting so long, I bought 343’s damn map pack that only had three maps, I’m participating in their damn infinity challenge for some truck I don’t even want. I even went out and bought LOADS of Doritos and Mountain Dew to buy into this damn double xp shameless promotion for Halo. So again I ask: Why cant ST LOU1E just have his armor specializations? Why cant I get a code that WORKS? I’ve played along, I’ve been a good faithful customer.
Omg, that must be so frustrating for you. I didn’t qualify for the codes but I can totally sympathise with you. I hope you get a positive response soon!
I JUST got off the phone with Xbox support with someone named “Mike.” Mike says that there is NO WAY Microsoft has the power to give out new codes or allow the re-redemption of a code. He then told me that the only ones who DO have that power is none other than 343 Industries, and he directed me BACK to this forum.
Why are you sending your customers back and forth like this? I mean it’s like no one knows what the hell is going on with this issue! He even got frustrated with ME and finally asked, “Well geez, I mean what are these codes even for?”

What does it matter what its FOR? Your supposed to be professional and help me with my problem! It’s not even THAT big of a problem which is why it’s baffling that this is so difficult to solve.

Micrsoft was originally responsible for the sending the codes via email. When that failed, 343 took over and aided in the investigating process to see who was supposed to get codes and resend them via Xbox messenger on the dashboard to the people who hadn’t gotten them or hadn’t redeemed theirs yet. Last update on the specialization thread (which is gone now, was a sticky at the top of the forum) said that if you haven’t gotten one yet, your just going to have to wait until they are released for everyone.
Now seeing that your code is invalid I’m sorry for you but 343 is done sending/fixing people’s problems with codes. You just going to have to wait until they are released for everyone. I myself played the game every day since release, I’m 25, I live in the United States and I never received my code. My wife on the other hand played one time (like three matches) before the 20th and she received a code. Luckily since she doesn’t play often, I just use hers.
Hate to say it but your just going to have to wait until they are released for everyone.
